THE MIDDLE PASSAGE
The Middle Passage room offers a powerful, immersive experience that honors the lives and stories of Africans forcibly brought to the Americas. Through artifacts, visuals, and narratives, the exhibition confronts the brutal realities of the transatlantic slave trade, encouraging reflection, awareness, and a deeper understanding of this profound chapter in African American history.

40 ACRES AND A MULE
The "40 Acres and a Mule" room explores the promise made to formerly enslaved people after the Civil War and its lasting impact.
