We value the stories of the trials and tribulations faced and the role African Americans played in the fabric of America.

Therefore, we are committed to bringing forth a new generation where African American stories of culture and heritage are fully acknowledged. As you walk through the museum,  experience the bravery and the inspiration that was birth from Africa, the past and present connections, the visibility of the black experience, and the why to celebrate a culture deeply rooted in the American Dream.
